Conference - Stochastic differential geometry and mathematical physics

Rennes, from july 6th to july 10th 2020

Organization board: Jürgen Angst, Ismaël Bailleul, Piotr Graczyk

Scientific board: David Elworthy (Warwick), Martina Hofmanova (Bielefeld), Y. Le Jan (Orsay)

The aim of this colloquium is to bring together some of the best international specialists in the various themes detailed below, specialists who naturally share a common interest in the stochastic differential geometry in which their work is formulated or embedded.

  1. Fluid mechanics and stochastic hydrodynamics

  2. Optimal transport

  3. Stochastic calculation on varieties

  4. Stochastic quantization and gauge theories

  5. Stochastic control theory

  6. Statistical Mechanics

The aim of the meeting is to promote the latest advances in these themes and to discuss ambitious open questions. This conference is intended to reflect the varied themes it addresses, namely transdisciplinary. We hope that it will be an opportunity for rich discussions in a friendly atmosphere and new fruitful collaborations.
