This DimaScat conference will present the latest progress in the domains of scattering theory and spectral asymptotics of differential operators. It will be dedicated to the St. Petersburg school of spectral theory, and to pay tribute to our colleague Dimitri Yafaev for his major scientific achievements during his academic career before his retirement in September 2016. This conference will be a great opportunity to present the latest advances in spectral theory and in particular on the study of Hankel operators which have been at the core of his recent works.

Invited speakers include:

  • Ludvig Faddeev (Steklov Institute of Mathematics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, St. Petersburg)
  • Nikolai Filonov (Steklov Institute of Mathematics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, St. Petersburg)
