Partial differential equations arise in a wide range of problems that model physical phenomena. The thematic semester organized by the Centre Henri Lebesgue will focus on recent advances in various areas of both fundamental and applied research in this field: quantum mechanics and mathematical physics, fluid dynamics equations, kinetic theory. Specific attention will be paid to the mathematical techniques that allow for a decsription of the large time behavior of solutions.
